Three meters. One business to understand.

A growing food business: connecting consumption, solar PV and new requirements before choosing the future configuration.

The starting point

The business had three 200 kW meters and three PV systems. A proposed new building, with a power requirement to be assessed at around 400 kW, made it necessary to understand how the loads were actually distributed.

Peak history

We worked with the available load curves from the last three years, identifying peaks and their distribution over time.

Simultaneous demand

We compared supply points over matching intervals to reconstruct the virtual combined peak.

Solar PV and growth

We related consumption to the contribution of solar PV and the expansion scenarios.

Before adding the figures, we checked the data

The analysis revealed anomalies in measurement coefficients. We explained the historical data’s limitations and the possibility of an accurate reconstruction from March 2026. Data quality was included in the report alongside the charts, allowing comparisons to be given the right weight.

The questions we put on a practical footing

Keep the meters separate or consolidate them? How should the new building be integrated? What could an additional PV system, envisaged at 300 kWp, contribute? Is storage worth investigating? We organised curves and charts to make these choices clear to management.

The work delivered

Peak analysis and charts showing their distribution, the PV contribution and virtual simultaneous demand. Expansion and storage remain scenarios to assess; the processed data provide the basis for technical and economic comparison.
